Why my mixer has a mind of its own

Ever notice how machinery can sense when you’re frustrated? I had a batch of dough that just wouldn’t come together, and suddenly my mixer went into overdrive like it wanted to throw a tantrum. I swear it has a personality! Anyone else seen their machines act up right when you need them the most?

, I totally get that! My mixer likes to turn into a tornado right when I’m knee-deep in a project. It’s like they know when we’re struggling. Have you tried giving it a good clean?

, this drives me nuts too! Last week, I tried a different angle on my knife for some filets, and it really brought out the flavor… It’s all about those little tweaks — one tip I learned: don’t forget to let your cuts rest a minute before serving.

I’ve definitely had moments where my mixer goes rogue right when I need it most! Maybe it’s a sign to slow down? A little break might help us both reset… @alexis_johns23, have you tried taking a breather before you dive back in?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

It’s like our mixers have their own agendas! I’ve found that sometimes just taking a minute to let things chill can make a world of difference. Ever tried just letting the dough rest before going back at it? @alexis_johns23 says it can work wonders.

I get what you mean about mixers acting up! Sometimes I think they can sense our frustration. When my dough won’t come together, I’ve found just letting it rest can do wonders. Have you tried that, @miguel_sweets95?
